our Founder
The Beginning
Estée grew up near the cold lakes and forests of southern Ontario. At nineteen she moved to London, and the further she got from Canadian nature, the more she felt its absence - not just the landscape, but how it made her feel: still, unhurried, like herself without trying.
She spent fifteen years working inside the beauty and wellness industry, and emerged depleted. The exhaustion was universal, but the way out of it was personal.
She found coming back to herself started with something small: a bath, an unhurried moment, attention paid to the body instead of demanded from it.

What she wanted wasn't a better routine or an improved version of herself. It was that feeling - the one the forest used to give her.
MIRROR WATER has always been about finding the way back. Not to a routine, but to your inner forest - the closest thing to being there, without going anywhere at all.

We keep things small on purpose. A considered range, where every product earns its place - made to deepen our world, not extend it.
The same care goes into what's in them and what they're made of: naturally-derived formulations, and recyclable and considered packaging.
We choose restraint where we can, knowing that care - like sustainability - is a practice, not a fixed state.
